You Always Want What You Can't Have
My parents buy me all sorts of toys but I want the things that they always take away from me. The green bag in this video has all of my lotions and bath stuff. Mommy won't let me play with it. Daddy even pulled me backward but I still managed to get it eventually. They didn't let me play with it for very long though! I think the bag is a pretty color and it makes crinkley noises when I try to put it in my mouth.

Me 'N Mac
Okay, so there are big people like Mommy and Daddy, little people like Michael and Marley (Torres), little little people like Lily (Imhoff) and Danny (Haas), and little furry people like Mac. Mac is almost exactly like me! For example, he moves around on his belly (I can't move as fast as he can but I am getting stronger every day), he is cute (just like me), and he likes to give sloppy kisses (just ask Mommy how sloppy my kisses can be). Mac is so much better than my stuffed animals at home. He actually plays with you and licks you back!

My Favorite Past TIme
This has quickly become my favorite past time. I like to chew on everything. I chew on everything that will keep still long enough to put it into my mouth. Sometimes I surprise my parents because I can reach for things that they think is out of my reach. Lately I've been really into trying to grab those things that they are always holding like the remote control, wii remote, phone, and computer. They look like so much fun but my parents won't let me touch them!
Mommy's Note: I have a love hate relationship with technology. I don't know why the video is "smushed" this week. Sorry! Better this than nothing, right?

I'm 6 Months Old
Now I've been told that people don't normally celebrate half birthdays but I guess my Grandma Moss couldn't help herself. She sent me this present for my 6 month birthday!
She really didn't need to send me anything. All I really wanted to play with was the paper. My parents tell me I am exactly like my cousin Malia, she liked to play with paper too!
See that book? It is about a little boy having a half birthday just like me! Don't you think he looks like me too?
I Got Shots They Got Smoothies
Isn't my doctor's office cool? They have really neat paintings on the walls. I just loved that they put paper on the bench for me to play with. My parents didn't like me trying to put the paper in my mouth. Haven't they learned yet? I put EVERYTHING in my mouth.
I didn't understand why the panda bear wasn't soft and cuddly. I tried to put that in my mouth but I just bumped into the hard wall. It stung a little bit but not as bad as those shots I got! By the way for those of you who want to know my stats: 15 pounds 1 ounce, and 26 inches. My mom says the best things come in small packages!
After we went to the doctors my parents got smoothies. It looked sooooo good but they wouldn't share with me. On a hot day a cool smoothie sounded so delicious. I guess I'll have to wait until I am older.
My parents said I took my shots like a trooper. Almost the same as the last time. Didn't really feel the first one, the second one made me take notice and the third one stung! I recovered quickly. They put the band-aids on and gave me a kiss and said "all done" and I was all better.

Our Study Session
Last weekend Daddy spent all weekend studying for a test at work. I wanted to be just like Daddy so Mommy gave me a book and I tried to do what Daddy was doing. I tried to copy him but all I knew how to do with the book was try and put it into my mouth. Daddy didn't try and put the computer in his mouth, I wonder why? By the way- Daddy passed the test today! Yeah for Daddy!
Okay, so I might not actually be reading (yet) but I am having fun anyway. Look Grandma Colleen- I am doing my summer reading, can I be in your program at your library now?
All Dressed Up and No Where To Go
I got this outfit from my Great Uncle Patrick and Nina. Mommy thought it looked so cute on me but I am already getting to big for it. It came with a bow tie and she couldn't get it around my neck. Even though our house is air conditioned it was still to hot to wear this fuzzy outfit in the summer in Arizona. Mommy quickly dressed me up, took my picture and then put my short sleeved onesie back on. Whew.. all that for a picture.

What is for Lunch?
I've been getting some new food lately. Mommy and Daddy have been having fun feeding me new and different things. I think they like it when I make funny faces when they feed me. So far the prunes have made me make the funniest faces. Today was also the first day of day care. I heard Ms. Darlene and Ms. Madeline tell Mommy that they had fun with me and that I was such a good baby. I thought that it was fun because I got to look at other little kids, like me, when I was there.
Not only have Mommy and Daddy been feeding me different food but I've been trying to figure out what is food and what isn't. I put anything in my mouth that will fit. My favorite is any kind of toy that makes noises when I put them in my mouth. I've also found a way to get my toes in my mouth! Watch!
