Sea World
Eating my Wheaties (waffles and sausage) for my exciting day at Sea World. Daddy, Mommy, Malia, and Uncle D ("ohdee") went with me to see dolphins, killer whales, sea lions, otters, birds and lots of people!
Here Malia and I waiting for the dolphin show to begin. It was so cool the way that they jumped out of the water. I've never seen anything that big come out of Grandpa and Umi's pool.
I love seeing Big Bird, Cookie Monster and Elmo on t.v. but I am not sure I like seeing them in person.
Here we all are looking at star fish.
I loved playing in the bouncy surface but Malia was to big to get in.
I could run and fall and nothing would hurt me.
Here I am waiting to see the Shamu show. It was so hot I wanted to jump into the water myself.
I got to see the bottom side of the shark in this cool exhibit. The sharks swam right over us!
It was getting late but we got to ride the tower ride in the middle of the park just at sunset. It was Malia's idea and I am glad she asked to do it because we got to see a really neat sunset.
18 Months Old/Cool Tricks
Here I am getting ready for my shots. For those of you keeping track I am now 24.2 pounds, and 31 1/4 inches tall. Mommy says that I am talking a whole bunch; now saying about 100 words (remember she counts these sorts of things for a living), like to play baseball, actually anything with a ball is at the top of my list and doing the splits. Everyday I seem to learn something new and interesting to do.
Cool tricks, cool tricks. Put the spoon on...
Let go of spoon and it sticks to my nose.
Look mommy no hands!

Busy Busy Summer
Did anyone say beach? pool? I am ready! Here I am, all geared up for some fun in the sun.
My parents and grandparents took me to Knott's Berry Farm for Mrs. Knott's famous chicken dinner. It was delicious! I loved the boysenberry juice and the corn. They wouldn't let me into the park becuase they said I was to small. I have some growing to do according to Snoopy.
Uncle M.J. (or eeem day). We had so much fun together this summer. I am sad that he went back to China already. He went back inside the computer and now is with Jo Jo when we do web chats.
All of these cool people and activities sure wears me out. I love sleeping with my blankie and monkey.
Alondra Park
My parents are having fun trying to show me everything they know about the South Bay. This is an interesting park that is not too far from Grandma and Grandpa's house. It has this big pond in the middle with lots of ducks and other birds (you know my favorite thing to look at).
Daddy found this tree with its roots on the top of the dirt instead of below! Mommy thinks it belongs in a scary children's story about a tree that swallows up kids.

1st Hair Cut
It took a long time for Daddy to agree to cut my hair. He said he wanted it to grow wild and curly. Then it occurred Daddy that I started to look like Pedro Martinez (of the 80's Dodgers fame) and he realized that I need a cut.
I didn't like the cape. But then Maria gave me my first lollipop and we were cool. I got to stand in an airplane and steer the steering wheel the whole time.
I got a lollipop, a certificate, and a balloon and Mommy got to keep a couple of ringlets of my baby curls.
I really liked my lollipop until a locket of hair dropped on it and I stuck it back in my mouth before anyone noticed it. Yuck!
Wiggles Concert
We went to see my first concert at the Gibson Amphitheater (for those of you guys that are my parents age and older- Universal Amphitheater). We went to see the Wiggles and we got to bring my cousin Malia with us.
Here we are having lunch and Jodi Maroni's.
Standing in line....
Waiting nicely for the concert to start...
Dog pile on Daddy during the show...
Sleeping on the car trip home, whew we had a long day!

Wilderness Park/Train Ride
There is a cool park in Redondo Beach called Wilderness park. I got to see the ducks up close and personal. I liked feeding them as long as they stayed at least arms length away from me. I saw- Uncle MJ got to close and one of them and nipped his hand- I learn quickly!
This is me getting on my first solo train ride at the mall.
Holding on tight and not really knowing if I like it or not.
